We met thanks to our friend Rebecca on 23rd May 2021 at Somerset House for a blind date - brunch. Yes, Amelie was just as unaware of what was coming for her as she looks.

Amelie visited Joshua in Wales for the first time shortly after the fateful brunch.

We met back and fourth in London and Wales for the coming months.

Finally, we started working together - in the same office - every day!

Joshua visited Amelie in Germany for the first time...

... and met the WHOLE family. We had such a good time, he spontaneously joined for a family vacation on the island Spiekeroog.

Joshua and Amelie moved in together in December.

There was a lot of studying...

... and a numerous trips to Wales.

In April, we moved into a new flat which had to be celebrated with a Lasagna.

We celebrated out one year anniversary back at Somerset House with a brunch in the same little cafe where we had met.

We went on a trip to Estonia so Amelie could see where Joshua used to live. Unfortunately, our luggage did not follow us to Estonia and instead ended up in Warsaw.

We scooted around Greece...

... celebrated Joshua's graduation from UCL...

...and Amelie's graduation from King's.

We bought our first Christmas tree together...

... and went skiing/snowboarding in France.

We celebrated our second anniversary - back in Somerset House of course.

We went sailing around Amsterdam with Amelie's parents.

And then, on Germany's Christmas Day....

... shortly after the start of the British Christmas we decided that we wanted to see a lot more together - a whole lifetime more.
